feh. seattleites don't hold a freaking organic beeswax ear candle to uptight-whitey berkeleyans.
still, when all is said and done, if given the choice between uptight-whitey berkeleyans or seattleites or cambridgers or whatever...vs. your average bush-worshipper...
i'll take uptighty-whitey.
[helpful hint: they often give spare change on demand if make your cardboard sign in spanish. or if not change, at least they'll give you their thai restaurant leftovers.]
